ELEVATE ENGINE DIGITAL SOLUTIONS

Your website is the first thing a customer checksand usually the last.

Before anyone rings, they look you up. If what they find is dated, slow or unclear, they quietly move on to whoever looks more organised — and you never learn it happened.

Why this matters

A website isn't a brochure. It's the point where interest either becomes an enquiry or evaporates. Most small business sites lose people for boringly fixable reasons: it takes too long to load on a phone, the offer isn't clear in the first screen, or there's no obvious next step.

I rebuild sites around how people actually decide — what they need to see, in what order, before they'll pick up the phone. That usually means less content, not more, and a much clearer path to a single action.

The technical side matters too. Fast pages, clean structure, proper search foundations and tracking that shows what's working. But those serve the commercial goal rather than being the goal.

What's included

Not every project needs all of it. We agree the scope before anything starts.

Business websites

A complete site built for speed and clarity, that works properly on a phone because that's where most of your visitors are.

Landing pages

Single-purpose pages for a campaign, service or offer, where every element points at one action.

Conversion structure

Reworking what appears where, so the page answers a customer's questions in the order they ask them.

Local SEO foundations

The structural work that helps you appear when someone nearby searches for what you do.

Google Business Profile

Categories, service areas, hours and photos set up properly. Often the cheapest fix with the fastest return.

Analytics & tracking

So you can see which pages produce enquiries, not just which get visits.

Migration & hosting

Moving off an old platform without losing your search rankings or your email.

Schema & AI readiness

Accurate structured data and clear entity signals that help search engines and AI assistants understand when your business is relevant.

How it works

  1. Look at what customers see

I go through your current site the way a customer would — on a phone, cold, without knowing your business.

  2. Agree the structure

What pages you actually need, what each one is for, and what the single next step is on each.

  3. Write and build

Copy and build together, because writing content to fit a template you've already built is backwards.

  4. Launch properly

Redirects mapped so existing rankings carry across, tracking live from day one, and nothing broken.

  5. Measure and adjust

We look at what the data says after a few weeks and fix what isn't performing.

Is this the right fit?

Worth talking about if

  • Your site was built more than three or four years ago
  • It doesn't work well on a phone
  • You can't update it yourself without ringing someone
  • Nobody can tell what you do from the homepage
  • You're moving off Wix, GoDaddy, Squarespace or an old WordPress build

Probably not if

  • You need an online store with hundreds of products
  • You want a custom web application built
  • You need it live this week

Common questions

How long does a website take?

Most small business sites take two to four weeks from agreeing the structure to going live. The variable is usually content — how quickly photos, service details and any existing copy come across.

If you need something faster for a specific reason, say so early and we'll work out what's realistic rather than promising a date I can't hit.

Do I own the website?

Yes. You own the site, the domain, the hosting account and the content. Everything is set up in your name.

If you ever want to move to someone else, you take it all with you. I'll help with the handover. That should be standard practice and unfortunately isn't.

What does hosting cost?

Most of the sites I build are static, which means they can run on hosting that costs nothing or close to it for a business of your size. There's no monthly platform fee going to me.

If your site needs something more, I'll tell you what it costs before we start rather than after.

Will I be able to update it myself?

Depends on what you want to change. Text and photos, usually yes — I'll show you how. Structural changes are generally quicker for me to do.

I'd rather set you up so you don't need me for small things. Charging for a paragraph change isn't a business model I'm interested in.

Will I lose my Google rankings if I rebuild?

Not if it's done properly. The main risk in a rebuild is old page addresses breaking, so search engines and existing links hit dead ends.

I map every existing page to its new location before launch. Handled correctly, a faster and better-structured site usually improves rankings rather than harming them.

What is local SEO, in plain terms?

It's the work that helps you show up when someone nearby searches for what you do — the map results and the local listings, not just the general web results.

Practically it means your Google Business Profile being set up correctly, your business details being consistent everywhere they appear online, and your site clearly stating where you work and what you do.

Not sure this is where to start?

That's exactly what the Free Discovery Session is for. I'll look at the whole picture and tell you which fix matters most—even if it is not this one.
