You're not short of clicks. You're short of the right enquiries.
Advertising that brings in the wrong work is worse than no advertising. You pay for every click either way, then spend your evenings quoting jobs you never wanted.
Why this matters
Most underperforming ad accounts aren't broken technically. They're pointed at the wrong thing. The targeting is too broad, the offer is vague, and the page people land on asks them to browse rather than act.
Before touching a campaign I want to know which jobs are actually worth having — the ones with decent margins that suit how you work. Then the campaign gets built to attract those and quietly repel the rest.
And it needs measuring properly. If you can't see what an enquiry costs you and what proportion turn into work, you're not advertising, you're gambling with extra steps.
What's included
Not every project needs all of it. We agree the scope before anything starts.
Google Ads
Search campaigns aimed at people actively looking for what you do, right now, in your area.
Meta advertising
Facebook and Instagram campaigns for demand you need to create rather than capture.
Campaign landing pages
Purpose-built pages that match the ad, so people arrive somewhere relevant instead of your homepage.
Offer design
Often the highest-leverage part. What you're offering matters more than how you advertise it.
Lead funnels
The path from first click to booked job, with the friction taken out of each step.
Conversion tracking
Proper measurement of calls, form submissions and enquiries, so cost per lead is a real number.
Negative keyword work
Actively blocking the searches that waste your budget — usually the fastest saving available.
Reporting you can read
Plain English on what's working and what isn't, not a dashboard export you have to interpret.
How it works
- Work out what a good job looks like
Margin, type, location, size. We can't target the right work until it's defined.
- Fix the destination first
There's no point sending paid traffic to a page that doesn't convert. Landing page before campaign.
- Set up tracking
Before spending anything, so we can tell from day one what's producing enquiries.
- Start small and deliberate
A controlled budget on tightly targeted campaigns, rather than spreading thin across everything.
- Cut, refine, scale
Kill what's wasting money, put budget behind what's producing, review regularly.
Is this the right fit?
Worth talking about if
- You're running ads and can't tell whether they work
- The enquiries you get are the wrong type
- You've got a genuine offer worth putting money behind
- You can handle more work if it arrives
- A previous agency ran your ads and you never understood the reports
Probably not if
- Your budget is too small to gather meaningful data
- You need enquiries this week
- The business can't currently service more customers
Common questions
How much should I spend on ads?
Enough to gather real data, which for most local businesses means a few hundred dollars a month minimum. Below that you're guessing rather than learning.
I'd rather start with a modest budget and prove it works than take a big commitment up front. If it isn't producing, we stop and look at why instead of quietly spending more.
Google or Facebook?
Google captures existing demand — people searching for what you do right now. Facebook and Instagram create demand among people who weren't looking yet.
For urgent-need services like trades, repairs and transport, Google usually comes first. For products, lifestyle and anything visual, Meta often works harder. Plenty of businesses eventually use both, but rarely at the same time on day one.
How do you charge for ad management?
Management fees are separate from your ad spend and agreed in writing before we start. Your advertising budget goes to Google or Meta directly from your own account, which you own and can see.
I don't take a hidden cut of ad spend, and I don't mark up your budget. If any third-party software is needed, I'll tell you what it costs and who it's paid to.
How long before I see results?
First enquiries can arrive within days. But a campaign needs a few weeks of data before it's worth judging, and two to three months before it's properly tuned.
Anyone promising a specific number of leads in a specific timeframe is guessing. I won't do that, and I'd be sceptical of anyone who does.
What if the advertising doesn't work?
Then we find out why and either fix it or stop. Sometimes the problem is the campaign, sometimes the offer, sometimes the market simply isn't searching for what you're selling.
I'll tell you if I think advertising isn't the right answer for your business. Spending your money on something I don't believe will work is a bad way to keep a client.
Do you guarantee a number of leads?
No. I won't guarantee lead volumes, rankings or revenue, because nobody can control those honestly.
What I will commit to is transparent tracking, so you can see exactly what you spent and what it produced, and a straight answer about whether it's working.

These overlap more than the headings suggest. Most projects touch at least two.
Not sure this is where to start?
That's exactly what the Free Discovery Session is for. I'll look at the whole picture and tell you which fix matters most—even if it is not this one.
